Submit a Bug Report

So you believe that you have discovered a bug in ADOM? Before you submit a bug report, you should be able to positively answer all of the following points:

1. Did you make sure that your bug/RFE is not listed among the closed bugs with the most duplicates submitted so far? Many bugs/RFEs getting reported are already known and folks just don't check this (or don't search for the right terms).

2. Did you check whether the list of bugs fixed for the next version contains your problem?
3. Did you check whether the list of bugs known for the current version contains your problem?
4. Did you check whether your problem is listed elsewhere in the bug database?
5. Did you make sure that your problem is not described in readme.1st?

If you can answer "yes" to all those questions you may proceed.

Important: Please report but one bug per report... otherwise your bug report most likely will be kicked out of the bug database due to its unwieldy nature!

Fill out the following form completely and press the Submit button. Your bug report will be put into the quality assurance queue. If questions remain you will be contacted and further information might be requested from you. If you are the first to submit a real bug, your name will be entered into the credit list. Usually bugs will be fixed in the next release of ADOM.

Enter a short bug synopsis: The synopsis should contain a useful one sentence summary of your problem/RFE.
Enter the description of the bug: The description should at least contain the following information to be useful: The exact steps to reproduce the problem. A description of your environment at the time the bug showed up. A description of anything special about your configuration. Any dumps and/or error messages provided by ADOM (be exact!). Remember: Submit but one bug/RFE per report!

While this might seem like a lot of stuff to submit for a simple bug report, all this taken together really makes for a helpful bug report. Try to fill out as many of these fields as possible. Thanks in advance!
