Hi folks, since I’m leaving for a short vacation in Hamburg till the 2nd of January I just wanted to post some quick works regarding ADOM, JADE and more.2009 was a truly busy year… marriage… Ph.D…. continuing growth at QuinScape…. OpenSAGA… Hexer & Helden… Only ADOM and JADE (once more) got short-handed. While I’m sorry about that it’s something I can live with.Basically because I was really exhausted and “empty” during the last quarter of the year, I relished my holiday and I’m slowly starting to build energy for 2010. And 2010 is the JADE year… there definitely will be some kind of release early on (basically just a technology study… and then we’ll have to get up to speed together), I’ll post a bit more about iADOM soon and more is to come.I just don’t want to get over-ambitious but rather would like to thank all ADOM fans and supporters for their continuing belief in ADOM and JADE.And I would like to wish you a great transition towards 2010. Stay tuned, all the best to you and your families… we’ll meet again in 2010
!

Hmm… First of all I wish you a nice time and a happy new year.
Concerning JADE, I think that you have done some of the code already, even if it’s not everything, as you have shown in the video, drop by drop, the glass will end up filling if you keep advancing at least a little every year. By the way, What are the things you still need to fix/add in the code in order to make it playable enough for the release?
Well then, Cheers, and have a nice 2010!

Hello again Mr. Biskup, Just writing to tell you that I am still interested in (and hoping for) previews of JADE in the coming months.. I am assuming, like myself, that in the midst of everything going on worldwide that you like myself are incredibly busy… But I do keep checking the ADOM/JADE blogs in hopes of an update (or (cross my fingers) better yet an alpha release
I understand also, That I have not sent any gold for a glint of your treasure
but I do try and click on your links. Actually started playing DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online) to pass the time while I wait for an update. In any case I Hope spring treats you well and I will continue to check on this site for any forthcoming updates! To a happy and joyous 2010 and all the new things it brings for you
Your friend and crpg admirer, Moppit

Not to worry Mr. Biskup, The planets have aligned, a falling star has hit a village eldar, And I’ve realized, The first release of Jade will come as soon as I’ve truly completed adom… My last character just died on D47 so that gives you some breathing room, but I have to warn you, I am starting another character, and I feel rng lucky about this one
Here’s to beating adom and preparing for the alpha of jade
Moppit.
