JADE already a legacy application?

One thing that really irks me about JADE these days is that it has not been developed test driven. When I started writing JADE TDD still was a silver line on the horizont and testing consisted of the classical “run - check - fix” cycle of development. Nowadays we can do much better. But…

Personal blog online

Just as a side note… in order to bring my personal home page slowly back to life I just (re)started my personal blog at http://www.biskup.net/blog. It only will cover my other hobbies besides ADOM and JADE but it probably will be updated more frequently with ramblings about my non-roguelike life.

Concerning ADOM & JADE… I’m still working on my Ph.D. - on Friday there is (yet another) presentation of my results and everything moves towards the finishing line. I still expect to start real work on JADE in autumn.

…and since I saw someone posting a comment to that effect… I recently got my nice shiny iPhone (finally, yeah!) and the prospect of “iADOM” is so incredibly tempting… I might have to revise my statement about never again working on ADOM. Oh dear…

P.S.: And yes, besides learing Objective-C I’m spending all - and I mean *all* - my time on my PhD. The end is near, my friends - just need to keep alive till then

P.P.S.: Sorry for not updating this for so long. I’m really trying to focus to finally be able to refocus (if you get the meaning!).
