Healer class improvements
Interface and other improvements for the healer class

- Level 18 class power interface: starting at level 18 whenever you apply First Aid you are asked if you want to apply it on yourself or someone else. I suggest that this dialog only pop up when a companion/monster is directly adjacent and that the skill is applied on yourself otherwise. A line could be added to the manual detailing that you need to be adjacent to a monster to apply First Aid or Healing on them.

- Level 40 class power: in addition to Cure Serious Wounds and Neutralize Poison, give the PC knowledge in either Cure Critical Wounds and Heal or just Heal. Additionally, curing monster blindness could be added to the effects of Heal since there is no way to cure monster blindness in the game as of now (see 903 and my comment).

- I have not played healers for a while so I do not remember if potion generation is higher for them than for other classes, but if this behavior is not already present in the game, it should be.

These changes would make it less of a hassle for healers to play as healers (and be healers to companions).

I am all for adding CCW and Heal as spells auto-learned by the class. I was immensely disappointed by lacking Heal, even when I knew I won't use it anyway. It's just... you're not really a Healer if you can't use Heal!

This is a great idea - esp. the bit about the lvl 18 power. I played through a Healer recently and found that very annoying.

In over 90% of cases, when people apply first aid they mean to apply it to themselves. Being next to a monster nearly always means you want to kill that monster, not heal it.

So my suggestion would be to invoke "first aid on others" only with the class power menu, just like other class powers.

Actually the same would be a big improvement for thieves and picking up items in a shop. As it stands, once they have the class power to pilfer shops they get a dialogue every time they pick up an item in a shop. This is a headache in the casino. Again, this dialogue should only trigger if you invoke the power from the class power menu.

Here I proposed another solution for xl 18 class power, as I said there, going into the class powers menu every time would be too much. I usually try to not kill living monsters when role-playing healers.

It would be ideal if this and that could be combined, perhaps.

I should probably concede that the healing skill is much more efficient for healing others, but I'm planning to suggest a buff to first aid on others in the future.

I vote yes, and suggest something else: A chance that healing a hostile could give a chance for them to be less hostile, like giving bones to dogs, rats to cats etc.
