Were you using a female PC at the time?

I was, but "female king" is still incorrect.
Also, I'm fairly sure that the emperor lich which summoned them got both genders.

The only female doppelganger king I can find is a boss monster. That should probably be changed (@Thomas)?

Fixed by renaming doppelganger lords to greater doppelgangers and doppelganger kings to ultimate doppelgangers. Sadly this seems to be the only efficient way to handle this :-/

I think they could've remained lord & king and just remove the chance for them to be generated female. An awesome imitator such as a doppelganger king would not be hindered by such trivial things as the target's gender. :)

I think some bugs are worth keeping in the game!

I'd say it could even be intention of the one who proposed boss moster :). I guess female claw bug is still somewhere in Ancardia too?
