With the Sun JVM, I get the splash screen, followed by a gray menu screen. There is no graphical detail to it other than gray grayness. Nothing of note appears in any log or output that I can find. I can interact with a few menu controls, such as get a popup saying there's no reference manual, and quit, but I can't get any further interaction.

EDIT: I managed to accidentally start the game. Wee? Now to just learn where I pressed.

EDIT2: Nope. The game screen is equally gray once I get past skill selection.
