I was playing a human fighter who was wearing his starting equipment, plus he had equipped a cloak that he found. I opened the inventory screen and pressed the key for the armor slot (I think it's 'e'), and I unequipped my armor. I pressed 'e' again and selected an unidentified set of studded leather that I had recently found. After selecting the new set of armor, the game locked up and became completely unresponsive. I had to kill the container with task manager. This happened on the first level of the small cave east of Terinyo.

I was unable to reproduce the error later with a 4th level fighter wearing a cloak of adornment and equipping from his starting leather to a leather apron.
