Win7 problem/not problem?

EDIT: Issue resolved. Previously I used the Launch button in 'All ADOM II downloads' section, but today I noticed that there was one directly on the page that appears after clicking in the link in the 'ADOM II 0.2.5 has been released!' post. I used Weblaunch and managed to complete the install. Now I can use the file I downloaded yesterday without problem. Makes little sense to me but no matter, it works now.

The Laptop with Win7 runs 0.2.5, but desktop machine with Win7 does not, it just fails to launch the thing.

I try to launch it from the saved file/icon, not the weblaunch. Both have updated Java. I tried without firewall and aero. No go. Any ideas? I'd like to use the numpad :)

Do you have access to the adom-ii.jnlp file on your system? It must be somewhere and it would be very interesting to see its content. It also can be downloaded from http://www.adom.de/adom-ii/downloads...t/adom-ii.jnlp and maybe some other piece of software is modifying it during download. I have seen that happen from several mobile internet access providers.

As a consequence of the edit I will close this issue for now. Providing an alternative to Java WebStart hopefully will solve all these complications in the future.
