Severe Audio Crackling
All audio sounds staticky/crackly.

As it says, all my audio is crackling pretty bad on the Steam version, version 3.3.4, starting right from the menu. I've re-verified my game cache, tried changing which graphics card I'm using, tried switching my audio sample rate between 44100Hz and 480000Hz in my Windows settings, searching through ADOM's settings for relevant options, and I even tried limiting the game to 60fps in case it was an issue with game speed, but nothing really worked. I'm on Windows 11, but that isn't an option, so I said 10 instead. The game is otherwise playable, no lag or anything, but I would have to mute it to make it tolerable, which isn't ideal.

I'm not sure if there's any other information you'd need, but obviously I'm willing to oblige you if asked. Thank you.

Never mind. Eventually figured it out. A program called FxSound was hijacking my computer audio and messing with the sample rate, which caused crackling. I thought I checked that, but evidently not thoroughly enough...
