Currently the <deity> favors you, <deity> greatly favors you messages get displayed at 25% and 75% progress to "extremely close" respectively -- at the first (pre)crowning. Upon later pre/postcrownings they instead get displayed at the same constant amount of piety below that which is required for pre/postcrowning. This renders them rather poor indicators of the progress one has made, despite the fact that that was supposed to be their purpose.

They should instead always get displayed at 25% and 75% progress between "very close" and "extremely close", at each precrowning. Note: haven't actually tested it now for postcrown, so that may or may not be the case there.
