A wished-for cute dog not entirely satisfactory?
"made a tiny girl very happy" does not appear in my list of achievements despite reuniting the Tiny Girl with a wished-for Cute Dog

Cricket the human priest was unable to rescue the Cute Dog who got lost in a cave on the pass... as a result he pointedly neglected the Tiny Girl for the next 90 days, but after heroically closing the chaos gate and restoring balance to the Drakalor Chain, he magnanimously used the only wish he ever received to wish for a Cute Dog in Terinyo. Upon [c]hatting with Large Bat, the Tiny Girl (she is always named after my first kill), she assured me that I "is true hero", and yet, the historians failed to register this heroic act in the chronicle of his achievements...

not sure if this is a bug or intended feature or perhaps the result of some oversight on my part. I am 100% positive that I never spoke to her after finding the corpse of her beloved pet, but I did sell it to Munxip the shopkeeper for safe keeping... while it seems unlikely, is it possible that she noticed the corpse in the munchies mall and thus removed herself from my list of possible achievements? I certainly doubt it.

Any cute dog dying disqualifies you from getting the achievement line.

does that mean that by never going down to PC:6 I could have gotten that entry in the achievement list? or does that entry automatically get disqualified if a player doesn't generate a living Cute Dog before day 4?

Yes, you would have gotten the achievement if you never went down to PC:6 - the time limit only affects how the cute dog there is generated.

good to know. Thanks for the info. Doubt this knowledge will ever effect how I play, the vault on PC6 and the possibility of an altar on that level are much more important to me than a single line in my list of objectively much greater achievements, but this at least satisfies my curiosity...
