walk mode can interact with objects including attacking enemies
was: backstabs in walk mode

You can end up killing an enemy as part of a walk-direction macro.

EDIT: I believe that this overlaps with another bug where two actions get taken instead of one. For instance I hit 't' to enter aiming missile mode and it fired the shot as well.

Seems to happen to non-hostile monsters that are not peaceful or friendly.

I think it's more general than that. It can give a door try.

Aaaand it finally happened. Killed a cat (until then successfully avoided) with an innocent walk down a tunnel...

Okay here's a weird one: I open a door and instantly kill the skeleton behind it, all in a single action. Not sure if it's a part of the same bug or not.

Should be fixed for 3.1.0. I couldn't reproduce it anymore. Keep your fingers crossed!

This bug is still present in 3.1.0. Attached a save file that can sometimes reproduce the issue - using w4 will usually result in attacking an uncaring kobold.

Seconding, it's definitely there still in 3.1.0. One quite typical way of reproducing it is walking around the perimeter of HMV - quite often there you either end up swapping places with a neutral monster or attacking a hostile one.

I've noticed this bug activates on a successful use of the Backstabbing skill, when the monster does not care about you and does not see you coming.

I'm fairly sure I've had it happen also before getting backstabbing, given my mentioned scenario of HMV where I usually go before getting Backstabbing. Can't say 100 % though.

For the given save file I have implemented a fix. We need to keep observing this.
