Quitting the game brings up the normal post-death dialog screen. Viewing high score from there also works. But viewing the highscore then doing another action causes a generic "adom has stopped working" crash:
view highscore -> restart a new character -> crash
view highscore -> exit to main menu -> crash
The other options seem to work alright after highscore.
