Running the ASCII version of r50 on linux. After a random but very small number of turns I'll take some action - opening a door, attacking a monster - and suddenly I will get the message "Unknown command: '�'" continuously until I kill the game. It will accept other input but many actions are impossible. Not sure what kind of further help I can provide, but this makes r50 totally unplayable for me. r49 did not have this problem.
