Font size vs. Zoom factor
Changing font size is called two differnet things

Changing the size of the font in the statistics area is called "Statistics display font size"
Changing the size of the font in the message area is called "Message display font size"
Changing the size of the font on the map is called "Zoom factor"

This change in naming convention is a bit strange and a little confusing. Maybe "Map display font size" would be a better name?

I don't think it's strange or confusing--the word 'zoom' is typically used in conjunction with maps (in my experience, anyway).

Furthermore, the message and stats display will always be text. The map is currently ASCII but there might be an option for tiles in the future, who knows. So I think the current wording is fine.

I also think that 'zoom' is more appropriate for a map.
