I was walking in the north-west Drakalor chain and got ambushed by an orc patrol, then that message disappeared and it never went to the next screen of being in a field with the orc patrol just froze up on wilderness map. ended up getting the pin-wheel loading symbol for my mouse just like on the hang on stairs bug and could not recover the game at all and had to forcibly shut it down
