Currently a beehive can contain anything from a dozen to 150+ bees. Which means that there is a remarkable variance in their level of danger, but there's no way for the player to tell before the hive has been wrecked.

I suggest that there's at least some hint on the beehive size, when looking at it or stepping in that square. For example "A bee hive..." / " A large bee hive..." / "A huge bee hive..." / "A gargantuan bee hive..." With e.g. max 25 / 50 / 75 / 75+ bees in it.

I haven't noticed a similar variance in ant colony sizes, so those haven't been IMHO a problem.
