[RFE] Scrolls of item destruction - change of behavior
Before suggesting anything, I'll say this: I know not all items are meant to be useful/desirable etc.
However, in this particular case I see nothing but room for improvement - only benefits and no drawbacks.
I'm suggesting that:
- blessed scrolls of item destruction should allow the PC to select which item is to be destroyed (specifically worn items since those in inventory you can obviously drop or sell)
- uncursed scrolls destroy one out of at least X items (2? 4? debatable)
- cursed scrolls destroy four random items
Right now, *all* scrolls of item destruction that I ever find land in the same place as IBM guild manuals and monster aggravation - dropped immediately due to being useless or potentially very harmful.
I think scrolls of destruction working in the suggested fashion would fill a certain functional niche against trapped and cursed items that the PC has no means to remove, but happens to have a blessed scroll.
Otherwise they will continue being useless instead of having situational use.
