I tried on some 'woolen rags {Ch-2, Ap-4}', and noticed that the stat modifiers to Charisma and Appearance don't behave as they should.

Sometimes when I equip the rags, my stats don't change at all.

Other times when I equip them, I get bonuses instead of penalties (so I get +2 Ch, and +4 Ap instead of the penalties).
