Trying to work on item with illegal bodypart(-1)

This is really annoying bug. When I tried to use gem - game crashed. When I tried to bandage my wounds - game crashed. When I tried to cover my ears with beeswax - game crashed. When I tried to use a ring of djinni summoning - game crashed. And etc, etc, etc...

I am playing the most recent Steam version of ADOM.

Volvo fix pls.
