All varieties of statue monsters are susceptible to petrification. This leads to the creation of rather silly items, such as the "stone statue statue". As stone statue monsters are already made of stone, they should be immune to petrification. Other statue monsters could be transformed into stone statue monsters when they are petrified (or just make them immune to petrification as well).
