After editing and applying options in a custom sized window (setting = fit screen to size) the screen was blank. The background textures existed but no foreground text and UI menus. After restarting the game to get the menus back, 4 minutes after creating a new character, windows reported ADOM was not responding and auto-shutdown the game.
