Filling the arena with closed doors and starting a fight freezes the game

If you create a closed door at every location where an arena opponent can be generated, the game will freeze when you start an arena fight.
EDIT: The same thing happens if other monsters are already occupying these spaces.
EDIT2: The same thing happens in dwarftown if every possible location for the greater daemon is covered by closed doors and monsters.
EDIT3: The same thing happens in Terinyo if you have saved Khelevaster and every single square is covered by walls and magma.

This kind of stress testing should be applied to programs that affect flight navigation and the deployment of nuclear missiles.

But ADOM would be the very next thing down the list.

I'd implement a special item after Grond's name which would stop bug generation in the Bug Temple if used there :D

The complexity of the arena truly is incredible. I found a lot of cool stuff before I broke it :-)
