When using the two-line buffer for messages, auto-saving will hide any level message that doesn't force a "(more)" prompt. These include the messages for vaults, greater vaults, water temple, air temple, mana temple, and cat lord. They can still be found in the message buffer by using ":m", showing up before the auto-save message.
