No, it was just a regular ratling thief in the big room. I didn't see the god of thieves message either (does low Perception matter?).

So I'm back after a year or so, and suddenly there's a brand new version release! I've only glanced at the changelog/wiki a bit and am trying to avoid spoiling myself of the new changes. That being...
Do you mean like the final log files?
Potion/wand of wonder?
Or have 2 OP pets and sic'em on each other. Arena 2.0.
You examine Uno, the female giant boar. Diagnosis: Level: 548, DV: 379,
PV: 129, Hits: 1988, Attacks: 55, Damage: 197-227. Speed: 188.
Anyone have stats for the quickling king liches? How much...
It does, and counts as a win in the arena (assuming no other enemies). Worst thing I've wished for were stethoscopes.
They don't show up on the Steam version logs - you can estimate based on the lifetime changes listed in text later on, but the actual stats don't display.
Edit: or maybe they don't show up in tile...
The inner chamber vault has 6 greater treasure spots, so there's a high chance of more than one artifact in that vault. Check if there's more than just Vanquisher around.
Do you have potions of exchange for ring dipping?
There was another thread about ToEF readiness very recently - considering looking at that. For you specifically, your HP/toughness is rather low and concerning yes, and a lot of your currently worn...
This is an absolutely amazing idea.
The ice queen does not give quests to chaotics. By the time gaab-baay wants a potion of cure corruption, she no longer requires chaotic align (only needs it to receive boar skull quest).
Barbs of all classes have got to have relatively low concern on being able to kill high PV monsters, what with their strength, class powers, etc...
And even if you get a better main weapon, Rolf's axe returns when thrown making it a viable option for a character that hasn't trained up other missiles.
Uh, why wouldn't you have Healing as a Chaos Knight? Did you forget to get it the evil way?
Edit: my deaths as Chaos Knight usually come from being overconfident and trying to slaughter Dwarftown...
The water dragon cave is virtual suicide to rob at your stage (or sometimes ever). Blessed ring of ice is enormously valuable as people have mentioned, potentially worth changing align over - but...
What race/class do you usually play (or do you random)? Where do you usually die?
It is definitely possible to invis-rob Waldenbrook, though extremely unlikely after you've sold some sis thanks to the level boost.
Gambling corruption used to not exist (as in, it only corrupted according to background which is nothing since gambling takes minimal time/turns), but this was easily and often exploited. It was...
Closing the gate only stops background corruption - it doesn't affect special sources of corruption (corpses, special levels, gambling, etc).
Phase daggers can never have affixes. They are smithable. Late game most of your damage comes from stat bonuses so the low raw damage on the weapon doesn't really matter. Early game though, higher...
You mean that a thrown missile that has its own ranged skill category will still take the melee category skill if it exists and is higher?
Sun's messenger is the only slaying missile weapon, and...
Perhaps what he means by 'no-fuss' is something more like 'hard to screw up by not paying attention'. To list the easiest ways to accidentally kill yourself for some common strong classes:
Wizard:...
RDSM, eternium tower shields, and 7LB right away. RDSM is basically mandatory for both early game survival and ToEF, because I didn't plan for darkforge run or even stop in Terinyo. Shields and 7LB...
