    Or simlply don't get the sceptre - it's not needed for an ultra ending.

    I thought you needed to be wielding the sceptre when you enter the chaos gate or you would be devoured by the denizens of chaos?

    You either need to be wielding the Scepter or the Trident. The Trident replaces the Scepter in regards to Ultra endings.
    I said it before, and I'll say it again. If I knew scripture like you, I'd prolly be an athiest too.. -gut

    Only for Original Chaos God endings. Ultra Chaos God, Ultimate Lawful
    Ending, and Ultimate Neutral Ending victories require the Trident of
    the Red Rooster instead.
