Am I the only one able to find discussion thread?
So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!

    > Equipping a pair of boots in your right hand isn't chaotic? :P

Waaaahhhh! You call THAT chaotic. Oh dear, what an easy kill
you are going to be. Again. They weren't even cursed.

    > where'd our extra healing and poison potions go?

Drunk the healers, and a door trap and got some stuff. I didn't
specifically report that, as it is easy to see what potions are in
    our inventory by my post:

    >> Potions ('!')
    >> watery potion [4s]
    >> Scrolls ('?')
    >> scroll labeled "HcUo" [2s]

Here is the vid my preceding turn:

Hopefully it will answer all of your simpleminded questions as
to what happens with a real player at the keyboard

All kidding aside, I was playing wrecklessly on my last turn
and nearly died to a chaos sister. Was horrible.

came close to living, but a mob moved the wrong way.
I know it happens sometimes, but still.

    Code:
    ######
    ....@.
    .o..R.
    ....r.
    ######
I move west, so where does the orc butcher move? East, or
northeast? One way, I would have only had to walk beside
him one turn (due to movement bonus), the other way, twice.
Yep, he moves directly east, sealing me fate.

    I died! I think I won though

    Video ahoy!

    http://www.viddler.com/explore/darre...rey/videos/13/

My first move was a space to the right towards the large ration.... which brought me into view of an orc butcher. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

Okay, decision time... Plan A: I can try to get to the ration on coward bonus, pick it up and run away to eat somewhere, but risk the orc butcher getting a lethal hit in (we were both an equal distance from the food). Plan B: I could throw rocks at the orc butcher whilst keeping my distance with the coward move bonus in the hope of a kill and some xp to beat the tiebreak. Plan C: I could lure the orc out of the room and then run around him with coward move bonus, pick up the large ration then run around him again and run away. Plan D: Just run the fuck away and hope I find food elsewhere.

Plan A seemed way too risky, so I tried Plan B. 5 rocks later and I had not managed to harm the orc butcher. Profane curses escaped my lips. Onto Plan C.... except now th erust monster shows up. There's a severe risk of them hedging me in if try to get the ration. All right, Plan D then - run run run!

I get past the rust monster, but take a hit in the process and then the ratling warlord shows up at the mouth of the tunnel. Going past him gets me two hits, down to 4 HP and still fucking starving. In the middle of the tunnel is the displacer beast from earlier. The rust monster and ratling are right behind me, though the orc butcher is now out of sight.... But I have an ounce of luck left - the displacer beast doesn't seem to notice me. I knew pumping Stealth earlier would return some benefit... I swap places with the displacer beast and run the fuck away!

Still starving I hunt desperately for the stairs. I find a magenta potion and drink it for some slight satiation. "You drink the magenta potion. You do not possess any special powers." Thank you, potion, your words of wisdom to the battered starving man are most welcome. At least it wasn't poison, I guess...

I kick down a locked door and find the stairs! On turn 4106 I descend...

With a new level there is new hope. All I need is food and I can rest up and be safe. I just need food and no nasty monsters to show up. As I hit the '>' key I pray nothing nasty shows up...

And as I enter the new level of hope and wonder and a real promise of salvation I see two steps away from me.... a werewolf lord.

    Waaaaaaaahhhh!!

Okay, the noise I make in the video is even girlier than that. I decide to bravely run, but the door out is locked and he summons dire wolves and silver wolves. The latter gets the last hit in.

RIP, DEH. You were not fated to a happy end.

DEH, the dark elven healer, was killed by a silver wolf.
She scored 0 points and advanced to level 7.
[Ok, to be honest: she scored -5220 points!]
She survived for 0 years, 2 days, 9 hours, 34 minutes and 43 seconds (4113
    turns).
    DEH visited 2 places.
Her learning score was modified by +1 during her career.
Her toughness score was modified by +1 during her career.
She ended her adventuring life on level 14 of some ancient caves.
82 monsters perished under her attacks.
She had the following talents: Greased Lightning, Quick, Very Quick.
She had a final speed score of 111 (final base speed: 111).
    She was hated by Anssaria.
She asked for 13 divine interventions.
    She was neutrally aligned.
She was slightly tainted by Chaos.

I killed nothing on my turn, but assuming gut didn't descend I figure I've won this round.

1-1 now. Guess it's time for the deciding match? I may be a little occupied this weekend though...

Just watched your vids - very amusing to see your tactical errors You didn't read the report properly and you completely misguessed the stairs (whilst I guesed correctly :P). Was impressed you'd managed to get and eat that ration though - if I'd done that I might've had a better chance of surviving, since I could have rested up on the down stairs instead of plunging down in the hopes of finding food. Ah well...

Also just watched your previous video - found it kind of amusing how long you spent on laying down equipment to make me think it's cursed.... even though I knew it couldn't be since you'd have to use piety dusting to get the stethoscope off. I can be dumb gut, but not quite that dumb Also found it weird how you left on those clothes and so didn't get the true berserking bonus.
