Default What to feed the demented ratling with?

I'm really not that sure, but i was thinking...
    1.Moon Sickle
    2.Phial of Caldriel
    3.Big Punch
4.Sword of Nonnak (Maybe, maybe not with the spellcaster-ey classes)
    5.Ankh
    6.Black Torc (Situational)
    7.Crown of Science
8.Si (Does he even accept them?)

    I really have no idea.

He don't eat the Si - would be too easy I guess...

    I tend to go with:

    moonsickle,
    phial,
    black torc,
sword of nonnack if not caster
big punch if not melee pc without better weapon
    +something else
    +something else

I very very rarely feed him the ankh or the mummy wrapping, cos they are both awesome. I basically have to have Preserver to feed him the ankh, and would need to be desperate to feed himt him the wrapping. Meawhile, unless I am playing a mindcrafter, the CoScience of awesome - even my farmers and thieves want to learn Darkenss Light and Teleportation if they can, plus I often wear it in the lower levels of the Tower...

The point being, there is no real rush - I never feed him before the Casino, by which time I might have a useless precrown, the black tome from a surge of power, and found soaker in DF.

Moonsickle is quite useful, when you need:
    a) potions of raw mana
    b) to be extremely corrupted while entering a gate and you don't want to wait for a long time. (if you're doing UCG of course)

    Ratling doesn't accept Si.

So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
    (after 15 I stopped counting...)

It's been so long since I've done an ultra.
If I were doing one now I would feed him these:

    1. torc, if genned. Can't stand any bad luck stuff that isn't executor.

    2. RotHK's, if genned. Would prolly only gen it for the rat, honestly.

    3. nonnak sword

    4. CoS after I had done whatever book reading I found practical.

    5. ancient scythe, after changing potions of boost charisma to something useful.

    6. big wieght, I mean, punch

    7. Whatever art of uselessness darkforge may throw at me, and that includes
wyrmlance and emerald dagger. There's a difference between cool and good.

    8. golden gladius, unless I really wanted tactics for some reason

    9. phial, as long as I have other disabling means

10.amulet of raw steel is a good possibility, though I'm not giving up my shield

Of those, I would prolly go for whatever was easiest.

i don't really like the Crown because it's just a bit...iffy. Dooming + Cursing isn't really fun, and i can't be bothered to exploit them. I'm wondering because i'm going for an ultra, and the demented ratling got killed by that Greater Daemon, because i was careless, though, maybe i should have fed him some artifacts before taking the quest. (I quit that game in a fit of "omg, he's dead.")

Let's remeber that it is a good idea to be chaotic when you start the feeding too.

I usually feed him my sword, from tip to hilt.
