I'm looking forward to the trial of the starving bard.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

    We have prayers...
"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."

The more I look at Python's game report, the madder I get. We'll
just say that is irrefutable proof that post count does indeed matter.

    Starving, confused, strained!, BERSERK???!!!

If I, or, well, any person with a Grey-like post-count were to leave
the PC in a situation like that on the first round...
I'm sticking this in the flame thread so it isn't taken as a request
    for DQ, but grrrrr.
"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."

I gotta admit, I lolled a little when I saw his screenshot, just imagining the flames that would go down if you or Grey had left the PC like that

In other news, we have had a bona fide DQ decision from our good faith specialist Grey... whodathunkit?

Let's not be too judgemental of the players that are less fortunate in the brains and skills department. We must not forget the entertainment they bring us when they die horribly and stupidly.... (and some of their mums might be hot!)

The funny thing is that (I think from the capitals) gut's main problem is that the PC is in BERSERK mode. You need exactly 0 turns to change it. With extended drop you can solve the Strained! problem in 1 turn. Then you have to pray for satiation as he had had to instead of drinking the potion. So to sum up these, you need TWO turns to solve the problems expect Confusion.
Or should he pray and leave the potion for the next player who might not find a corpse and will drink it for the same scenario?

And Grey, you can do what you want to with your mum, but not with the others'. I think not ADOM is the only thing from what you can judge sy's mental skills. If it isn't true for you, then I feel sorry for you.

/Sorry for being so agressive, but I personally know Python and get really annoyed by some of your posts about him. You can say that he made a wrong decision, but you can't say he is a wrong person, because he isn't./

zsomkovacs, this is the Flamewar thread. This is not the place for reasoned discussion. Also, please refrain from giving out any sort of advice to future players or interfering with other leagues.

And to stay on topic, I will point out that I had your mum last night - she wasn't as good as gut's
