    So now we all have to take the same turn and 'better' Cash or do we just play on from here, in the established order? I have a question though: has EVERYONE forgot we've got two prayers? Being careful about them is one thing, but if we all keep waiting for HP instead of using the prayer we'll end up with piety decaying naturally, leaving us with enough for just one healing, whilst having used up more food than was needed. I admit to being partly guilty because I did the same, but that was the freaking first turn and I felt I'd advanced enough already, what with being on I:3, since our PC isn't really all that tough.

    True, but I don't think some health would've helped against 4 claw bugs or a bunch of pit vipers in irinkas place, they would've shredded us anyway. Maybe I should've used it instead of a charge of an acid wand to kill the hill orc. We'll see, we'll see.

    Okay folks, so now we wait for Confucio to come along and play his turn. Might I suggest double-checking to see whether rockthrowing is better than coin-throwing for our merchant? I have a sneaky suspicion that might be our safest way to inflict damage. Especially since we can even hit the dreaded dopplegangers

    Swordsman - cant disarm me when I'm wearing two shields my blue friend.

    See a yellow ooze in last unexplored room of level - decide its time
    to leave - retreat to downstairs and decide to regen my health before
    going down, whilst waiting to see if door will open...

    Holy crap our regen is terrible.

    8928:
    Flesh golem opens door, I have 45(46), time to descend.

    These caverns almost seem to be endless. There is a stair leading upwards
    here.


    First part of my mission is complete. Now to survive another 1000+ turns.
    Tricky. Ha, sense a certain tension.

    Oh shit. I hear a distant wind.
    Oh shit. The bolt bounces! Fuck, there must be a lightning lizard
    out of LoS. Retreat round corner. I web the lizard, and beserk rock
    the crap out of it. It struggles, it dies. Phew. Seriously, I do not
    need electrocution right now.

    9017:
    There is a stone golem to my left... I close the door and run.
    I have two carpe diem scrolls, one fair, one good.
    I read the good one hoping to ID some potions to recharge our wands.
    Success. Our potions:
    uncursed booze! Awesome sauce.
    uncursed cure poison. Not too bad.
    uncursed carrot juice. Yeah, we knew that.
    uncursed extra healing. Wish it was blessed.
    uncursed potential toughness. IIRC, should satiate like a bitch.

    So if I get lucky, I can put two charges into one wand.
    We also have a scroll of uncursing, which I am tempted to burn on our
    shield for extra points of dv and pv. Other option is to uncurse our bow.
    However, our arrows are crap - our biggest stack is cursed and unbalanced.
    Great. I gotta say, I am tempted to recharge the webbing wand rather than
    one of our acid wands... we can rock stuff pretty good.

    We also have a scroll of defence, which I will just go ahead and read
    for a lack of DV penalty on our armour.

    ZOMG - 3 charges. Awesome. I was expecting 1

    9188
    Crap. Hill orc sergeant and lightning vortex.
    Good news: Am in a decent sized room.
    Web time for orc.
    And I could use some darkness, but aint got none. Acid for vortex.
    Its destroyed! Stupid orc sergeants are nice to web - they step out
    the way, let you web a nice patch, then calmly step into it. Rocked,
    honestly I thought I was dead there, but not yet.

    9333:
    An uncursed hooded cloak. That will be incredibly useful in the wilderness.
    Actually, its a point of DV. Not complaining. Still not sure what to
    uncurse - duel wielding with the wooden shield still.

    Whilst exploring level, I hear some webs ripping:
    The listening skill is awesome: I know the stone golem has found its
    way from the room I closed it in into my web room, and is now hunting
    me down. I find it a corridor, and once again do the Coward-two-three
    Beserk-two-three Rock the World Tango, one of my favourite dances in
    ADOM folklore.

    9514:
    Finally lead golem via my web room for some extra space into the room
    I originally found it in, and lo and behold, there are the stairs.
    It dies to a critical rock, and the only place unexplored on the level
    is the tension room. The level is now probably half pacified thanks
    to the tension. My plans: to chill out in the web room for a few turns,
    to be certain that the level is indeed pacified outside the tension room,
    then go open the door of the tension room and run like buggery for stairs
    if its something nasty. Tension rooms are just too loot rich to ignore
    completely, and I can open the door from a diagonal, so its not too risky.

    In other news, we have 15 stacked 1d4 rocks thanks to the stone golem
    and the awesome Detect item status skill.

    Once we are starving, then I will drink the pot toughness - don't want
    to be bloated for longer than necessary.

    Ah, the tension room is not where I thought it was - its at the end of
    a straight corridor - I shall just head for the stairs then.
