Default Steel man, need some gremlin advice

    hi all
i've a hurtling elementalist who reached the 16th level
(actually my best result in steel challenge)
no more food problem, no more weather problem, now is time to try to make some experience!
i will try to generate a gremlin bomb to get "a lot" of usefull junk
i've found a wand of digging (finally) and a pair of pretty (useless) plain blankets
    but still no gremlin...
    some suggestion?
i've spend days of time "k"icking mages waiting for a summoned group of gremlin... but no result

do you know if the summoned monster level is somewhat related to the charcter level?
maybe is to late try to obtain a fluff ball this way...

i have also a wand of s.monster with 4 ch. and a lot of booze potions
there is a place who can help gremlin summoning? (i don't wanna waste charges)
    Any other suggestion?

    TY all for any hint!

Try readin scrolls of danger, when you have a nice packet.
Technicall, iircc, the monsters generated depend on xp, but may be UNDER that, so if that's the problem you're safe
Haven't won with : Druid, Priest, Elementalist, Weaponsmith, Ranger, Merchants, farmers, Necromancer,Thief
Currently trying : Entertaining girlfriend. Very, Very, VERY hard.

    Just a silly online game

Gremlins are pretty low DL I think. I've seen them in SMC with level 1 PCs, for sure. I think they're just a fairly rare spawn.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

Unfortunately, since you have to stay in the wilderness in order to satisfy your steel man challenge, pretty much your only option is to wait for wandering wizards specifically, and instead of kicking them, let them chase you around and they'll eventually summon a bunch of monsters of the same type.

Pray that it randomly chooses gremlins.
Pray even harder that it doesn't randomly choose Lightning/Acid Vortices...

Gremlins are DL1 so there should be no problem with the wizards summoning them, it is just a matter of time. However, since the wilderness DL is 1, don't expect to get any good items without scrolls of danger.
I said it before, and I'll say it again. If I knew scripture like you, I'd prolly be an athiest too.. -gut

Wilderness is DL3 isn't it? I think you can find water in the wilderness.

if you get doomed, you might be able to encounter
more difficult type opponents. Ogre war parties,
gnolls, quicklings. If you have th installed, the items
    would add up quickly enough.
"Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."

IIRC, the actual wilderness squares have a danger level of 1. The wilderness map, where nothing relevant ever happens, is level 3.
