Both my game-winners were Unicorn-born, so I guess Unicorn is the most powerful starsign!

I like Candle the most, although due to the bookreading bug in 1.2.0p3, Book and Cup also make interesting choices.

I finally completed a very rudimentary PowerShell script that auto-rolls for Raven or Candle (noteye v23), discarding all others. Completes one character generation in about 8 seconds. Clunky, inefficient script, hard-coded paths, no input boxes or choices, 100% reliant on Adom's built in screen capture feature.

If I were to generate on one computer and move characters to another to play, does Adom 'know' and curse my PC?

You can transfer save files to different computers as long as the you run the same exact version of ADOM

Personally, I feel that the fact that the server allows you to pick your own starsign is one of its best features.

funny, I always play on the server (infallible crash protection is important when my mere presence causes brand new computers to fritz out for no apparent reason), but I always use '?' to select a random starsign... then again I always let [f]ate decide my race and class combo and use '*' to select a random gender as well...
