This is mentioned in the IGB but not the GB. Based on the language in the IGB, I can infer that you can start gambling when hungry and come out very hungry. I tried wearing a ring of stun resistance while handling the slot machine, but I still became "stunned due to lack of food."
Meaning at least some bad things are supposed to come out from putting a rock on your spacebar and going to watch a movie. Or it could be a subtle nod to the consequences of addictive gambling in real life.

You can pray to focus back on reality, though.

The frost bolt from an Ogre Mage will freeze any water it passes over, not just the adjacent square. (might be helpful if you just can't find a wand of cold, but find an OM in the UD)

Talking to Blup after killing his mother is a chaotic act that causes him to become hostile. It's also frigging funny.

Killing Ruun causes a *massive* piety drop. At least if you're of his alignment. (along the lines of very close to equipment destruction)

Giving cute dog corpse to miss tiny girl is fun if you did the quest (and gave her the alive dog)

Hitting monsters with an everburning torch can give the message "you hit the -foo- mutilating him/her horribly and slay him/her".

If undisturbed, the layout of trees and greater claw bugs right next to the staircase in BUGWL forms the number 1000.

Apparently, WoMPCs can open doors. Note to self: never pacify Big Room with chaos traps and Great Wall.
I like my women like my ADOM loot - hunted as treasure and in extra quantity.

Feeding beggars beggar corpses is a lawful act.

Even more so if you cook them first.

I just tried it out with a hurthling mindcrafter (been through around 20 this past week :/), accidentally killed a beggar and went down to NC, so I cooked him and fed him to one of his buddies and went back up to N-.

Cursed wands of monster detection do not reveal undead and constructs.

All wished-for PoGAs will be cursed.

The weaponsmiths' ability to melt down items requires that you wield a hammer, but it doesn't require that you own an anvil.
You hear the cries of the crowd: "Freebird!! Freebird!! Freebird!!"

You play some tunes on your lute.
