    Dark elven druid, but has 16 Toughness? That's going to be a long match.
    Tried to read book, hobgoblin rudely interrupts me. Gets scimitared. I also equip the wooden shield. By the way, it's a darn spiffy 1d8+3 scimitar!
    Read the book twice. Also detect a tension room. Time to actually move from the stairs!
    Find iron ration.
    Find scroll labeled "ZTORF"
    Starting apple rots away without me realizing we had it. Bummer.
    Goblin drops embossed tome. I read it once, and it's Darkness. Not bad!
    I:1 is being difficult; Haven't found the downstairs yet and it's turn 359. I also step into a snake pit. Two Divine Wraths get rid of all three snakes and get me my first level.
    Find leather boots.
    Find secret door.
    At turn 467, I finally find the tension room. It's mixed, but I can't see anything dangerous from just after opening it. I'm killing it for fun and profit!
    Level 3 reached. I actually don't know the first talent - scratch that, Long Stride is missing from the list, so it's obviously that. Since we can already run faster than most monsters, I go for some extra hitpoints with Hardy.
    Mixed tension room does have a quasit. Switching to Divine Wrath. No more quasit.
    Level four now, I spot a corpse fiend.
    Tension room is empty. I pick up an iron ration and a magenta potion, and eat a dead goblin slavemaster. I also pick up a studded leather armor.
    Door out of the room is trapped. It's fireball. But I only go down to 34 of 47 HP and lose no items.
    574: FINALLY on I:2. I sense the presence of some supernatural entity of malevolent disposition right away. Did we ever find out what that does?
    We're also burdened, so I drop the studded leather. It's only 1 PV more than the leather armor. I vote not worth it.
    At 644, I sit down to recover HP and PP.
    At 865, I kill a bugbear and some goblins, and eat their freshly killed meat.
    At 916, a trapped door rips apart the leather armor. Oops.
    At 983, I find the stairs. I descended. No, I didn't go fetch the studded leather armor beforehand. Leave you with a partially explored level, so I have to share my knowledge of it? What kind of fool do you take me for?
    1000: I spent the rest of the time waiting in a corner of the initial room of I:3. I heard nothing in the 16 turns I waited, so probably no tension room, river or spiders of any kind. Otherwise I don't know jack. Have fun!

    Managed to descend 4 lvls and died from fire trap when running away from gorgoyle.
    I guess you have opened tension room in the middle of the lvl. I did not, as using stethoscope on door returned "You hear lots of sounds" msg.

    Nice win, Jellyslayer, you had even better luck than me. Here's my report:

    Code:
    4001: you really like to remove any rocks from my hand, do you? Put some rocks in slot again.
    4007: opened door. chaos brother and kobold shaman inside.
    4017: both of them killed. Got gloves and large ration. Gloves are simple [+0, +0] ones, not cursed.
    4090: door with booby trap. We can't throw that stupid anvil far enough...
    4092: got hungry, ate large ration. It was cursed.
    4347: waited for monster spawning, but none of them appeared. We need only 29 xp to level 6 to get strong thrower... Got hungry. No food.
    4348: tried wand, monster creation, 7 charges remain. Woo-hoo! Level up, here we go! Got a ghost as enemy.
    4350: and yes, level-up. We can melt metallic items. How good. Athletics, Dodge, Find weakness, Detect traps, First aid, as always. Talent: strong thrower, as I need it now.
    4351: what the hell, strong thrower don't apply to anvils?! That sucks.
    4433: played a bit with wand. Got some monsters, killed them. Finally I got a wererat. Had him to summon twice. Killing rats for food. Level 7, skills as always.
    4441: very hungry, and just two simple rat corpses...
    4501: killed trapped door with anvil. Trap didn't activate... If I only knew this can happen... Starving now...
    4572: Very luckily, found an ogre who was nice enough to drop a corpse.
    4686: that sucks. I have to go through the tension room. Probably with the vortex...
    4687: read scroll. It was monster detection. Tension room has werewolf, lightning vortex, rust monster and crystal statue. I don't think I can do this...
    4823: if I have to die on this level, I'll do it in a way to make you hard to beat it if you don't survive... Used up wand of monster creation for xp. Waited a bit. Now killing the monsters in tension room. Got 8 rocks and "HcUo" scroll.
    4886: OK, scroll was familiar summoning. Got caveman. Killing monsters in a doorway with him. Hungry, on 5 HP. Got wolf corpse and blubbery potion.
    4917: werewolf killed, but lots of summons... Turn count goes too fast...
    4927: too low on HP. Will try potion. If I die, it's hard to beat me now enough...
    4928: potion of invisibility... That's just... Nice.
    4982: I'm Hungry!, on 4 HP, but still invisible and on the other side of the monster horde. Going for the stairs.
    4994: WHAT THE HELL?!!! Last door was booby trapped! I can't believe how much it sucks! Five stupid steps to the downstairs, surviving almost everything, and a trapped door... ADOM is just not fair...

    I did not open it either :P. I didn't open any doors on that level IIRC, but a gibbering mouther confused me and hit me 15 hp/round. I don't know how that's even possible. I couldn't really do anything. I guess you win.

    We play a dwarf merchant, so I named her PaintHeroine, after the famous paint picture thread.

    We have a nice selection of wands and good toughness, but no food preservation and only 1 iron ration. Also no healing or candle. So it will be difficult enough to survive without chaos tactics.

    1: Equip coins in missile slot.
    47: I found the downstairs and most of the rest of the level is behind a locked door, so I descend.
    99: You fall into a pit! AAARGH!
    151: first kill, kobold. Drops nice crossbow.
    210: Fall into the same pit. AAARGH!
    450: waiting to recover HP. Some rats come along, we get to level 2. I raise detect traps, pickpockets, first aid IIRC
    621: descend to I3
    645: Level 3. Raise similar skills, talent Very Hardy. I like hitpoints.
    700: Hungry. Eat the iron ration.
    777: Pick up broadsword.
    790: Descend to I4.
    801: Eat bat. Tastes like chicken.
    806: Pick up blessed club.
    914: Detect traps on locked door, it's explosive. Edit: for sake of clarity I marked this door with an arrow on the map. "=>"
    925: Ripping sound. More ripping sounds and slurping sound follow.
    970: explore dark room. Don't find the down stairs.

I keep missing, and so end up at 4 HP and heavily poisoned, but after killing them I pray twice to heal and remove poison. Down to D3 on turn 417. Tension room of orcs - up to level 5, +1 St. Orc chieftain hits hard though, so I flee and descend to D4 on turn 772. D5 on 871. D6 on 976. Explore a little and save.

    1000 - 1200: I began to explore. Found some heavy boots, couple of spears and fought some goblins.
    1200 - 1350: Killed some bats and found a bright potion. Found stairs to I4 and descended.
    1350 - 1500: Killed a goblin berserker.
    1500 - 1550: Found stairs to I5.
    1550 - 1650: Couldnt find a secret door. Got bored and descended to I5. At this point I have passed a lot of food, but we were feeling tired and didn't want the extra weight.
    1650 - 1700: Found a metal cap. [+0, +1]. Yay!
    1700 - 1750: Killed an Ogre. Levelled. We now can evade wilderness encounters. Might prove useful, right? Increased alertness and concentration. Took Strong Aura.
    1750 - 1850. Found stairs to I6. Decided it was time for a different approach. I disarmed out shield and schmitar and wielded a coin in either hand. I prayed for our goddess to turn our gold coins into golden weapons. However I was rewarded with PP. I tried again and was ignored. I figured if I keep asking her she was bound to award me golden swords! Instead she just made me glow black and now we cant unequip our coins.
    1900: Found studded leather armour and equipped it.
    1999: I waited my time on the stairs and descended to I6

    So yeah, I prayed until everything became cursed. And I know nothing of this dungeon level.

    Have fun smashing orcs with golden coins!!

    Default Grey vs Tihh round 2

    1000: waiting for full heal, eat a melon, go to Satiated
    1189: displacer beast corpse rots away
    1200: +1Ap (mud in my face)
    1285: find stairs with a neutral gargoyle and descend to I7
    1533: Satiated -> Normal
    1630: retreating with 16hp and bleeding wounds from an owlbear, who guards the stairs to I8
    1663: kill owlbear
    1715: kill large kobold -> lvl6. We are now poison resisitant. 'Hardy' talent, +1St increase
    1984: descend to I8, sense a certain tension
    2000: 49/59 hp, we lost Satiated status around turn 1850.

    Genius! I wouldn't have thought of cursing our food for extra awesome spider bread! And putting gold in our hands means we aren't tempted to go with anything but spells for survival. I'd probably have stupidly meleed someone otherwise!

    2057: Read the Darkness book to extinction so we aren't burdened anymore. There's a certain tension and rushing water with an exclamation mark. Good thing you didn't get us stuck with a cursed scimitar, it would definitely have gotten rusty!
    2228: One swim in, spellbook of Divine Wrath gone, spear rusted. Oops. Should've read that.
    2247: I swam three squares only to find the mixed tension room. Flesh golem in there. I'm outta here.
    2259: Swam to the other shore. Gonna find the stairs and sleep this off like a bad hangover.
    2553: Guess what, I have to swim through the river again. This level is a bitch!
    2561: But! The river wonderfully keeps the mixed tension room from fucking me up. I have 50 Swimming (wisely increased in early levelups), I can probably spend hours in there. Finding the stairs should be no problem now. (In other news, didn't know wererats could swim. Atta boy!)
    2612: And the downstairs. That wasn't too hard! I also found some items... That round key, I think. And a large ration.
    2614: I'm greeted on I:7 by a silver wolf! Oh no! I have to use more spells! There's also a watery potion here. Might be holy water.

    2680: It's at severely wounded, and finally decides to cut and run. It also has my only thrown weapon. Come back!!
    2690: Wait, I can still throw the scimitar!
    2691: Success! Level two in swords gives me +2 to hit with it! It's at +16, 1d4+8 when thrown in berserk mode.
    2757: Found a hexagonal key, a hat, and the stairs.
    2759: I arrive on I:8 to find a blink dog and a floating eye fighting each other. Unexpected free entertainment!
    2762: Blinkie got paralyzed! Oh no!
    2765: But Floaty didn't manage to damage him. Unparalyzed, but immediately paralyzed again! You can do it, Blinkie, I believe in you!
    2770: A couple turns later Blinkie is unceremoniously killed and doesn't even leave a corpse. I feel strangely ripped off, even though it was free entertainment. So I throw my scimitar at Floaty. It's only critically injured. Alright, guess I'll spend a Divine Wrath. I find an apple and eat it.
    2793: Only 207 turns left. Should I go out and explore?
    3000: Nah.

    Absolutely nothing happened on this level except the rather disappointing show match that ended with no survivors. And I ate an apple, I guess.
