    If you got some dragon slaying ammo or ice bolt you could very safely tackle the tower I think. Ring of ice is very nice (bless it before you go into tower). You could also get into the dark gremlin cave. An artifact is hidden there which can be used to blind the ACW by throwing it at him.

    You could also use the waterbreathing helmet to help find Blups mom. He isn't just whining you know... He lost his mommy in an interesting place. It's not extraordinarily dangerous but not totally safe either. Just search for it

    If you don't have a better weapon (and yours is not bad) you could try improving it further by reading the scrolls of melee damage and accuracy. Blessing beforehand helps (but your holy water is a bit low). The sword seem quite good already though so possibly it won't improve very much.
    Treasure Hunter is an absolutely immoral talent and people who take it are slaves of their lust for loot. A real character doesn't rely on worldly goodies to save the world but will do so by trusting his inner strength.

    There's a good chance there will be bees on the level before the Banshee. Check down a couple levels and see if you can find it. If you reach the Banshee level before you find bees, well, then you'll have to look elsewhere.

    There's a special room effect that does -1St and +1 Le. Going through the ID you'll see lots of them.

    If you have water breathing, you could check in the river and see if you can find the Water Dragon Cave. Best only to visit if you have a good source of invisible, and stay away from dragon turtles, who are very dangerous. You can help out Blup if you can find his mommy there though. There's also a very tempting treasure room there... Oh look, you can cast Darkness.

    Were your scrolls blessed when you read them? A blessed scroll should remove 1-2 corruptions, so unless you had another one on top of poison hands, one should have been enough.

    Oh, if you need more scrolls, and are neutral, there's a secret room in Dwarftown that you can teleport into that might give some (other times it's just some potions). If you're lawful, you'll get a decent artifact instead.

    Problem with the Wyrm is that you don't have a good way to do damage. Your sword is pretty weak, so it's gonna be a long tough fight, and you don't have much in the way of disablers right now. Do you still have your spellbook of acid ball? With 24 Le, if you can get more castings about that, that might be a good resource to have.

    Maybe another monster smashed the door. Worms and jellies should be killed on sight, barring certain circumstances. They breed like crazy and can make a level impassable just as quickly.

    If poison hands was the last corruption in your list, I suppose your scrolls weren't blessed? They should be, as they're more effective then.

    When the damage bonus is at +9, chances of further improving it are very low. I'd save the scrolls to pimp future phase daggers or something like that.

    I see a wedding ring in his inventory. He could try to propose to the banshee. Although that's risky if you don't know the ins and outs.

    Lol propose to the Banshee? Is that in this?! I kinda want to try it out now. But wouldn't I die anyways from her scream? I mean, she's gonna either say "I DO" and kill me or say "BACK OFF CREEP" and kill me right?

    Anyways, nope no source of invisibility yet. I saw a thing about a rift, I might check that out. I tried to enter a stone circle and ancient city, but I can't go there yet. Are there any quests in the DDL or the Dark Forge?

    Oh, also, I haven't talked to Blup in ages lol. Like 30 or 40 characters at least. Unless you count giving him some orange potions so I can swim counts. I forgot about his mom.

    Anyways, I'm gonna figure something out.

    Well, that's some horrendous luck! I thought animated trees didn't even see in the dark - that one must have been desperately panicking.

    If it's still Monday where you live, and you haven't done so yet, try rolling some new characters now. Having both good luck intrinsics right from the beginning might make a noticeable early-game difference. I created a ton of dark elf wizards today, one of them had 25 Learning.

    Even if your PC is now dead, I'll comment on your previous post.

    Maybe she'd just be happy someone actually bothered. I don't want to give too much spoilers, and personally believe the beeswax technique is better. But done, it can be done, and it's an interesting (although risky) tactic.

    The rift is better left alone for a PC at the point yours was. Tons of item destruction just to enter, and high danger level once you're in, with matching monsters. You need to be an expert and unyielding climber to access, anyway.

    For spellcasting PCs, the main attractive is getting to the library for the books. Other classes tend to get scrolls instead. I don't know how a healer would fare.

    Are there any quests in the DDL or the Dark Forge?
    DDL: one, but you needn't worry about it unless you're planning to do a special ending, and even then must be very high-level to proceed.

    Darkforge: you can get a couple of quests from the strange fellow that runs this place. They're of the "how far will you go to empower yourself?" kind.

    Okay! So, I'm rocking a Drakeling Beastfighter!

    Good Stats, good skills, kinda like it.

    But am stuck at the moment! Thought I would post a screenshot, maybe someone can guess where the stairs down are? I checked every square of the dark room, and kicked every wall that was attached to a room, except the big oval room.

    Also, I drank from a pool and now I'm always invisible! It's awesome.

    Have you carefully checked every square in the dark room? It could be there. The only areas where another room could fit are the top left region and bottom right, from the looks of it.

    If not...
    -I'd check the right side wall of the upstairs room for secret doors. That's the most likely spot, IMHO.
    -It's hard to parse what the room in the top right is supposed to be. I think it's a vault or a vault mangled by ants? There might be a passage extending out the right side opposite the one you are in. Or possibly off of the walls above where you're standing, with the secret door leading to a passage going left.
    -It could be in the top left. Try kicking along the walls on the northern edge of the three rooms on that side.
