    <.<
    Possibly.

Orc rangers are definitely good too.
Any time a player finds Executor and fails to use it, the RNG kills a cute dog.

Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

Some monsters are fine to kill in large numbers. I've never seen rats, or goblins, or skeletons ever get dangerous at all, for example.

Bees get significantly nastier with extra beehives - but in most games I've played beehives are rare enough that my character can take each one fairly easily once they appear, to the point I'll just say "sweet, gelee", dive in and kick the hive (which means you don't create later bees with a high kill count). But if you do find more beehives than average in quick succession and aren't sporting 20+ PV scores, best be careful and use lots of missiles.

I'd try drakeling assasin next. I seriously suppose it easy enough and quite stylish.

I might have to give the Orc Ranger a try instead of the Dark Elf. Dark Elves tend to die easily I've noticed. I'll give the Orc one a try, then I'm not too sure.

I've tried Assassins before, and they die really easily I've seen. I don't think I know what I'm doing with them. :/

If you try an assasin: first, remember, you have Detect Traps from the very beginning. Use it for your benefit, check all doors before kicking and all suspicious places. Search ("ws") activates this ability on all nearby squares, but you can also apply it with "A".
Then, you have a high level in thrown daggers (5, IIRC) and some daggers in your inventory. Use them as a thrown weapon if enemies are too hard.
Of everething else, assasins don't differ much from most fighter classes. Though they have some interesting abilities.
Ah, and DON'T use two weapons. The only weapons worth it are twins Needle-Sting, and penalties are too high (no shield, lower to-hit, more energy cost for attack). Use spear + shield like anyone else.

    Okay guys!

I took the idea for a fighter druid and ran with it!

Orc Druid! Kinda tough, but kinda dumb!

    Only 8 Le! O_o

Very first thing this guy did was find 2 Eternium Halberd! First room of the SC, didn't even have to kill anything! Also, not having to fight animals is the best power ever!

    So! It's question time again!

1: Is there a way to make my Le go up?
2: I can't take the Strong Aura Talent, but I did take the Potent Aura talent. So I started taking the fast move talents GuTT recommended. Good idea or bad idea?
3: Should I stick with the Halberd or go with a shield and something else ASAP?
4: I picked the druid test to do! If or when I beat him should I choose Knowledge or Power?

Thanks guys! Wish me luck! If this doesn't work out I might try a Drakeling Druid, so I can be smart, but still spit acid on things! What is the best race for a druid do you think?

1: Certainly, though none of them are really trivial. If you go down through the dungeon after the SMC (which is a bit dangerous for a fresh character, but not undoable) you'll find the High Mountain Village, where the Oracle lives. Killing her and eating her corpse provides a sizable learning boost, but you have to be careful not to be caught by her death ray. Shoot her with missiles from a slightly crooked angle. Other than that, blessed crystals of knowledge and, especially on low scores, Garth will help a great deal.
2: The Quick, Very Quick, Greased Lightning line of talents is never a bad idea. Strong Aura requires higher Mana, I think, which you will get eventually just by casting spells.
3: It's a bloody eternium halberd - lategame damage output gifted to you by divine providence. Yes you damn well stick with it. Not having a shield doesn't matter if anything just dies if it gets into melee range.
4: You won't get a choice if you do the quest with a druid - you'll get a couple of rather useful items instead. Other than that, there's a very simple rule of thumb. If your character has Herbalism, pick power; if he doesn't, pick knowledge.

    Thanks Silfir.

Does anyone have any tips on killing that Black Druid? I know he's vulnerable to Acid, but I'm not always a Drakeling. :/

Also, his animals were hostile even to my Druid! Lame!

Oh, and he has like 10 cats with him sometimes, what should I do then? I cast Darkness and waited, but the cats were on both sides of me! They never left. Eventually I just gave in and kill them.

Is it that bad to kill Cats? I've never gotten to this Cat Lord guy, and is he really bad? I kinda get annoyed when I have to run away from a dumb little Cat. It makes me feel much less badass

Anyways, other than the pets, that druid is no pushover!

Should I just always take the Carpenter Quest? Or should I take the Druid test if I have healing but not herbalism?

Anyways, not sure what's next on the list. Had that Orc Druid die, then a Necro, then a Bard.

    Keeping on at keeping on!

It's not "that bad" to kill cats, no. If you ever get far enough to meet the cat lord, you'll be able to handle him. Never risk your life for a cat.

If I have Healing but not Herbalism, I'll always pick the druid quest. If I don't have Healing, I'll always pick the carpenter. If I have both, I usually pick the Druid, if only because many characters that have both can cast spells would dearly enjoy a spellbook of Frost Bolt. But make no mistake; the carpenter quest is far more beneficial for bare survival, if only for Jharod's presence.

Keethrax can be beaten with missiles relatively easily if you have fire resistance (from a wooden ring perhaps) and a torch so you won't be stopped from shooting by darkness. Decent melee characters can do it with brute force in the dark, too.

If you start the game in the druid dungeon, I'd explore all the way to the bottom, and then turn around and do other dungeons for a while. 10+ PV, 60+ HP should help.

Kill the cats. Don't even worry about it.
