You exactly hit the emperor moloch and severely wound it. [Not mentioned: the boomerang happens not to return.] Out of ammunition. The emperor moloch picks up the penetrating boomerang of slaying. (x, ydz+w)

(True story, though not with that item, but rather the RCT. Still, I love these kinds of boomerangs and almost always train myself in their use if I find them. And often even if I don't - scurgari are pretty cool too!)

Is it true that penetrating weapons do not ignore armor on critical hit (i.e, "penetrating" prefix becomes useless)?
