    • make sure the player has nice big stacks of ill fate and amnesia scrolls in every early-game.

    Set water traps on the square right after scrolls of danger.

    Make it rain for the first 30 days after wizards enter the chain.

    Make Kranach always take the amount of time to find as it takes for the player to reach starving status.

    always have the DH stairs on the oppisite side, behind a hidden door, a river, a certain tension and a threat room. and have the stair room full of worms.

    and the compliment to that one...

    • trees never move out of your way, except for one single tile as you first enter the level, and that is a fireball trap.
