Don't know - if you can engage her in next room it should be possible to get her poisoned via good usage of flute. Meeting in corridor needs lots of luck.

i spotted her some three or four tiles away and started throwing rocks, she summoned maybe two times but no spider got between us, allowing me to kill her in the corridor.
