    Default Cyclops.

Really quick question, just because I have never personally seen one, what level/ how deep can I find a Cyclops? I got it for my first dwarf town quest.

Cyclops aren't so common but i'd look for one below dwarftown or in the big room above it. Tomb of the high king is worth trying too.

They can only appear in the CoC after D:15 (so past the AF)

Yeah, you won't have much luck finding one in the Big Room unless you're doomed or quite overleveled. High Kings is probably your best, or possibly Darkforge. If you're really lucky (kind of...) a mixed vault or tension room on D:10-14 could spawn one as well.
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

Have you tried the top of the pyramid? I seem to recall hearing that there's a relatively high chance that whatever he asks for will show up as one of the random monsters in Rehetep's room. Not guaranteed, mind you, but it's somewhere to look.

The Tomb of the High Kings would be the place to look in.

You can just forget this quest until you somehow find a cyclops. Do you really need a wand from the second one?
I'm going to win with Dark Elves of all classes.

I end up using the wand of fireballs a couple of times almost every game, actually. Twelve on-demand fireballs can kill a lot of stuff in very short order, and that's without even spending booze to recharge the thing. Damaging wands in general are very valuable to non-spellcasters. Even if you don't have the Willpower to increase the range of the fireballs beyond one square, you can keep Coward mode on while blasting and every hit is guaranteed. Ball spells are crazy good in ADOM.

Also, the second quest would get replaced with another find-a-monster-quest, and as you're seeing right now, those suck balls.

I did find a cyclops in the darkforge. First place I looked. I feel good about this character and my general competency in this game- knowing when to fight and when to flee in terror.
