Default I dont have the money to ye

I found out today that Waldenbrook's wallet is not unlimited. Can anyone tell me when he gets paid again? Thank you.
You don't have to be taught all that much; you just need to acquire more cautiousness, an almost healthy amount of sheer paranoia, and a more fine-tuned "OH SHIT RUN!" reflex. ~Silfir

    Short answer: Eventually!
ADOM Guides - whatever you wanted to know about playing a certain class, but have been afraid to ask!

Check out my youtube channel to see my ADOM videos, including a completed playthrough of the game. I try to give instructions, so if you want to see some place you haven't been before and get some hints on how to deal with it, this might help! There's also some other games featured there that you might find interesting.

This usually happens when you dump a bunch of blessed/uncursed sis on a merchant who gives you good prices (CHA/APP, 'race'...)

By the same token, if you're playing an unpopular 'race' and class, you'll find it pretty hard to run a merchant out of gold to buy things from you. But you'll be buying expensive and selling VERY cheap if that's the case.

It also seems to be easier to do this to the HMV merchant than the Dwarftown merchant, but that could be down to other reasons.

The quickest way to get a merchant buying from you again is to buy some stuff from them when they tells you they're out of funds. But that might not be the best way to get them buying again...

If you just wait around in dwarftown for a few thousand turns (easy if you can do macros) he will have a new supply of gold. It's possible the message "you hear someone counting money" is an indication but I'm not sure.
You steal a scroll labelled HITME. The orc hits you.
