Resurrection Day 2013 Challenge/Community game ideas?

22 August is the first anniversary of the successful funding of the Crowd funding campaign launched by the Creator, Dr Thomas Biskup. Where fans of ADOM donated a targeted $48,000 for the resurrection of development on this wonderful game.

We should definitely have some sort of community/challenge game to celebrate this achievement.

Something with flavour would be cool.

Fewest turns to give $48,000 to Khelavaster? Please, give some better alternatives.

Roll random character, get as much gold as you can within a fixed time limit?

Disallowing casino gambling? The challenge would be moot if you could gamble.

I was thinking the $48,000 because that is what made the campaign successful and Khelavaster because he symbolizes dying versus resurrection. Also Khelly is encountered prior to the casino.

The player will have to weigh his/her options carefully.
-10000 turns for saving him?

IMO 60 days is a very long time to play one game. Most mine are between 30 to 50 IIRC.

P.S. I think to simulate the rush we felt a year ago, you may have as many attempts as you want. As long as the character is generated on Resurrection Day( setting your system clock back here is fine), but the contest ends at the end of the 31st?

I like the idea! Will start my first attemp right now :-)

e: I decided to roll only one character and play him with as much care and attention as possible. Guess that's my way to play this game with the biggest enjoyment ;-)

Don't forget to give him the gold before saving him, otherwise you'll totally screw your turncount.

I think we can subtract another 2000 turns if the character goes on to win and 3000 for an ultra(order).

-2500 for ordinary chaos god
-4000 for avatar of balance
-6000 for ultimate chaos god

+200000 for playing a version older than 1.2.0 prerelease 5
