How to clear undead greater vault?

Keep an eye out for any boost willpower potions in the Casino. 3 blessed potions should be enough to bump your Wi to 99 for a little while, which will make your ball spells that much more epic.

Note that if the vault design is the one where the liches are trapped in the center room, you can kill most of them without ever opening it by spamming high-powered ball spells next to the walls.

I've only seen one and I cleared it. With a Drakish Healer who never cast a spell, never shot an arrow, and who never spit acid. I lost very few stats. How'd I do it?

Yes, if recall correctly, there was only one. I'll give a hint. I cleared it but the monsters didn't go on my kill list.

My personal favorite method of clearing GUV with any number of liches is getting a GEE companion. 100% safe way if you have invis and confusion resistance. You do lose all xp however.

Using the RCT is also a pretty straightforward way till it fails to return.

If you have Alchemy, you're also safe to go (is that the answer to Tyrnyx's riddle?)

Well, then you have never cleared a GUV.

Maybe I'm a noob but I would try to teleport into the vault when there is space and then cast Fire/Acid/Lightning Ball until things are dead. Are you death ray resistant? If not maybe wear the mummy wrapping. I wouldn't use any missiles as wizard: it will take ages to get close to the kings/emperors that way.

This. You have willpower 51, so ball spells will be by far the easiest, quickest, safest and most enjoyable way to clear that vault. So what if you destroy a few items on the ground. That is only an advantage, most good stuff is indestructible anyway (wishes, eternium gear and artifacts) and destroying all the junk items makes it easier to find them. As Jellyslayer said, some willpower boosting potions will improve it further. Whatever you do, do not cast slow monster on yourself. It makes everything much harder and the xp gains are too low to bother.

You don't need the AMW for -death, the sword of nonnak grants that already.

yeah on the slow monster... emperor liches don't give that much exp because their stats aren't that high. Not worth the bother. If it was a fire vault, totally different!
