    Even easier, I think the djinni won't spawn on water, so you can probably just melt the bridge behind you and do it right there, assuming you have frost bolts to spare, of course.

    I'll probably just lure him back into the corridor - feels like it will be easier to escape if things go south for some reason :-) Will dig up the savefile for the troll now and take stock before I start.

    Alright, session 1 is done. I have about 5k turns left and while things have been going well, I am still only lvl 11 (trolls - so tedious!) and there's no wand of cold in sight, nor a WoDestruction or SoFS.
    I did pick up some helpful resistances, teleport control and some gear though (bought the RoDS as well). I haven't been able to progress the dwarftown quests since all the grizzlies are in hiding somewhere. Will take a break here and mull things over, and play the rest of my turn tomorrow. Input always welcome.

    Good to know. Maybe I'll head to TotHK soon and hope for the best, maybe even a cooperative ogre magus. I guess I could always blow the wish on a wand of cold.

    Mission done, the wizard got his hands on the RotHK.
    I decided to spend the remaining turns on the Dwarftown routine, and now I'm in the arena facing a stupid wild cat (arena quest not done, ).
    So should I just kill it and spoil my kitty karma, or should i teleport away and wait for some means of dealing with it non-lethally (like potion of exchange)? What do you think, guys?
