    Just to check that I understand the Munn'sheez plan.
    1) Step back from Ogre King (is this just to take advantage of our speed?)
    2) Remember we have poison hands and thick gauntlets.
    3) Climb off DL:1.

    OPTION 1:
    Ascend to D:41? Collect potions from vault.
    Do Earth Temple
    Do Mana Temple
    Descend to D:50

    OPTION 2:
    Descend to Mana Temple (and do it)
    Ascend to D:41? Collect potions from vault
    Do Earth Temple
    Descend to D:50

    Option 2: saves some repeat of the UL1-UL3, but Earth Temple is generally better to do before mana temple.
    Earth Temple is on D:43, so climbing to D:41 doesn't seem like a big waste in order to get potions.

    1) Yes, you have something like 120/400 HP, so better fight hit&run style and not let enemies get a chance to hit back. Unless you get surrounded of course.
    2) The only healing method atm is the water orb, and without elemental gauntlets due to the cursed thick ones that is not really a good option. But due to scars corruption, natural regen is quite ok to at least heal in between fights.
    3) When climbing off DL:1 there's a stash immediately on the one tile behind the closed door. I picked up a lot of stuff from the blue dragon caves, so you can decide what to keep. Most of it will be quite useless now. If we manage to convert an altar, the heaps of gold can be put to good use though...
    Don't know how many potions are there and if it's worth. Some are on D:37, but that would be behind air temple (better not enter that level)

    Ok well, since other teams seem to be doing the "play your original character", I'm going to suggest we do the same.
    Cactus - Lanthir (you said you'd be willing to play him)
    Gordon - Sturm Flut
    Szopin - Groucho
    Harwin - Munn'sheez (this is *not* my original character, it's Silfir's. But Silfir left. I may play Misty anyway to get him in my highscore list, but I'd like a character with a chance, and Silfir doesn't want him)

    BTW - if someone *does* decide to try Mistanarius - I have some ideas.

    1) We're Raven Born - The Rune-Covered Trident is an EXCELLENT weapon for us now that we're allowed to get it ( we have water breathing and teleport control )
    2) If you could hit level 30 you could try converting to N (since we're not a champion yet) and doing the Unicorn quest. If you turn that quest in AFTER doing the WDC for the RCT, then we'll lose all of our corruptions (including stiff muscles), which will remove our major clock.
    3) You might even be able to gamble in the casino before turning in the unicorn quest for cash, since you're dumping all corruptions anyway. At that point we have enough gold (with casino) to convert back to C- and probably get crowned, and now we can afford the corruptions.

    How do I check how many scars I have? (The .vlg says I have 8)
    How do I use gelee royal to cure them? Just eat it?

    I've spent 2000 moves and haven't been able to kill the ASB. I converted the Earth Temple altar, and blessed all our water(6), and used one of them to bless a scroll of Identify and ID everything.

    Problems:
    1) Food. I've been wearing 4 artifacts AND being invisible a lot. I dumped the AMW when I remembered, but that's still invisible. I can *finally* take off these thick gauntlets now that I have water, but that's one of them. I'm low on food, and what we have has typically been cursed.
    2) I just got hit and am somewhat low on health. Not super dangerous, but I hate to spend piety on a prayer.
    3) Hurting the ASB. I haven't been able to to do much to it, but I several options now: (He's on the level upstairs, by himself, one blank space from stairs)
    a) - Put on both rings of slaying and melee him. I could occasionally wound him before - the extra damage should be able to handle it.
    b) - Charge the wand of poison and shoot him with it. (Not sure if he's immune)
    c) - Bless Whirlwind (to uncurse and swap to xbow) and shoot him with construct slaying

    I think I need to use 3 potions of holy water: Lizards, Gauntlets, Whirlwind. I *might* want to bless the royal gelee at some point, making 4. Does that seem right?

    Great job so far. Having an altar again is great!

    I would slay the ASB with all the demon slaying arrows and quarrels and both rings of slaying equipped. All orb guardians are demons. Your movement reduction should allow you to keep the distance if there is enough space. Don't remember how the level above earth temple looked like. Is there enough space to run around in a circle, shoot and pick up ammo? Maybe with the wand of digging something like this could be created?

    Regarding food maybe you can afford being visible and reduce artifacts to three?

    Holy water: A single blessed scroll of uncursing would solve all the problems, but looking for one before tackling the ASB is hardly possible with such a tight turncount... So I agree with blessing gauntlets and whirlwind.

    From my limited experience with gelee royal, it's maybe not worth it. I only once ate an uncursed lump while having many scars and got Dx+1. Maybe it has to be blessed, maybe it works over time, but maybe it's just crap. Your Dx is still 35, so I'd wait with that anyway.
