    Default Dwarven Archer - First win of a full set for p20+

    As the title describes, I decided to make it my goal when I started playing ADOM again recently to get a win with all of the races and classes in p20+. Of course, going alphabetically, archer was up first. This was my first win with an archer surprisingly - I believe I have a few promising archers in my Highscore list that met premature deaths for various reason, but I just never seemed to finish them. This was the 4th archer I rolled up, after a couple Hurthlings and a Gray Elf, and was much more robust, as you'd expect from Dwarves. Got an early sling+rocks+spear, and stuck with that for the first half of the game. Switched it up to axes (upon getting Rolf's companion) and full time archery upon getting crowned with true aim, which was amazing. Everything early+midgame was a total breeze on this character - dwarf + early PV talents made for an easy game. Late game, I finally started picking up archery + speed talents. Almost got to the Cat Lord before a silly mistake killed a cat, but it was no big deal - even without the ring, I was absolutely slaughtering monsters with True Aim + a bunch of slaying ammo (aside from various stacks build up over the course of the game for the end game, fletched about 70 blessed arrows of slaying). I also never got courage - apparently Goblin Rockthrowers are rarer than I thought, and I ended up 4 short.

    All in all, a very easy run. Aside from one time I got knocked down to 1 HP while clicking through too quickly (Thank you Lucky/Fate Smiles!) I only ever dropped below half health mid-late game against Nuurag and his death rays. Didn't even bother with the casino, aside from grabbing a few potions/scrolls/wands and some bracers. Maybe 200k worth of gambling.

    This was the lowest level character I've won the game with at this point at Level 36, and the 2nd highest score on my list (about 70k points behind my L50 GE Wiz with almost 50k more turns).
    This was also my fastest victory as of yet, at 70k turns almost exactly.

    EDIT: Next up is Assassin. I'm thinking Troll, I hear they pair up well and I've never won with a Troll before

    I don't get why the wiki says that troll assassins are good. I can understand that the skills they learn complement each other very well, but trolls have such slow leveling that they will get the excellent assassin class powers very slowly (they don't necessarily need them either, but you can say that about all classes).

    Troll is best paired with a class where your level 18 or 25 to 32 or 40 powers suck (like Paladin, for instance). Assassins have excellent class powers all the way through, go with a gnome or something.

    I may do that. To be honest, the troll assassin is boring me a bit. It's very robust, but I'm finding it hard to want to continue with it.
