Orc paladin should be fun. I'll have some spellcasting later,
and some nice melee for now.

    UPDATE 1: July 3

Well, I did Keethrax and got herbalism. Went to DT and
found a wand of item detection in the shop. I TP raided
DF for a suit of 'hate' mail and no weapon better than
my orc spear. I returned to DT for 'Big Punch', just to
be able to do some decent damage. Should be fun using it
with only level 1 Bart training so far. No herb training
to speak of yet, despite having some nice bushes in the
bigroom. Might have to do that soon though, as I nearly
died crossing the animated forrest. I had an AoLS and
bracers of resistance, but they both got disolved by
    some stray slug's breath attack : ( I didn't know that
could melt bracers of resistance actually, so I suppose
that's one for the 'undocumented' thread as well. I
would have taken the AoLS straight to Khelly, but got
turned back by a threat room of acid vortices. I'll deal
    with them later...

    Strained!

    Maces & flails 1 +1 +0 +0 basic BLAH!

    UPDATE2: July 5

A bit of herb farming, Griffyard down, Pyramid
down. Found a mithril halberd of penetration and
a bloody dagger. I'm actually thinking of smithing
    up the dagger : )

    July 6:
Water Orb obtained, and all my blessed SoCR
were killed by an acid vortex tension room. A
horde of other items went with them, but it
was the SoCR's that hurt most. Ouch.

    July 7.
Fire Orb down, and I notice Grey's pitiful wretch
of a PC isn't even started yet. Ha!

Casino shopkeeper dead. Ancient karmic wyrm
dead. Temples will fall soon, then D:50.

Female dark elf weaponsmith born in the month of wand. A rather odd combination, but she does start with elven chain mail.

A bit of trouble in the village dungeon, as a blink dog summoned ahead of me as I was leading the carpenter through a corridor. A prayer was needed. There was an altar and an ant hive in the big room, so I went on a sacrificing spree and got precrowned with farslayer and hammer of the gods. Not the exactly the best artifacts in the game, but still useful.

My damage is weird, Right hand: +1 bonus to hit, 1d4+0 damage (0-0, avg 0.0)? Some beastfighter display bug that I'm not aware of 'cause I haven't played one in about 5 years?

I'm too late for the server, unfortunately, so I'll have to play local (whcih is a shame since I haven't been able to get Sage running on this netbook). My randomly random character is...

...Unicron-born female dwarven elementalist. Crap. Named her "Tommie" after a certain creator.

    Stats:
    Code:
    Tommie St:13 Le:18 Wi:14 Dx:15 To:14 Ch: 7 Ap:11 Ma:13 Pe:13
    DV/PV: 11/1 H: 20(20) P: 18(18) Exp: 1/0 DrCh Sp: 100
No notable equipment. Don't have time to play now - will give the girl a roll later.

    0. Female Gray Elf Mindcrafter. Starsign candle.

    1. Healing obtained. Level 7 now.

    2. Advanced to Dwarftown (D:11). Finished first quest (large kobold). Have herbs in big room and floor below. Trying to harvest morgia in big room, giving a lot of exp and weapon marks. Found possible end-game armor: Mithril chain mail of life. (+20% HPs). Also have some bracers of toughness, helped me getting over the elf's chief weakness. Long session of morgia-munching in front of me. Level 12 now.

    3. (Very short round due to time constraints): Harvested some more. Found my favourite corpse: "You start to consume the ogre magus corpse. You are done eating the ogre magus corpse. Very fat, this meat. You suddenly feel stronger! You feel power floating through your body! You also feel closer to the mana flow of the world." Level 13 now, but gonna get TO up a bit, and get detect traps installed before taking on the pyramid. I have music skill and gemology, so I plan on going to PC:2 and letting those ants dig out the level for me. Should take care of ore/gem needs. Polearms level 8.

I rolled a Book-born gnome necromancer. Decent stats and awesome boots. Should hopefully make for a pretty easy game. Will play later when I have more time.

    Code:

                                      Inventory

    Boots : gnomish boots (+1, +0) [+2, +3] [10s]
Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

Male Drakeling Beastfighter born under the month of the Wolf. Pretty good combination.

light furs [+2, +1] to start, nothing else of note.

Started with Healing and Herbalism... which starting quest should I take if I don't need either of the skills? I guess Guth's wand of cold would be the most beneficial?
