Demented ratling does not devour elemental gauntlets

I thought that the only artifact (besides the Orbs) that cannot be devoured by demented ratling is (are) si(s).

Today i tried to satisfy him with the elemental gauntlets, but instead of eating it the result was the following:

The demented ratling ignores uncursed elemental gauntlets (-1 +0) [+0 +3].
The demented ratling picks up the uncursed elemental gauntlets (-1 +0) [+0 +3].
The demented ratling equips the uncursed elemental gauntlets (-1 +0) [+0 +3].

Is it a bug?

There is a bug with the ratling not accepting gauntlets. It was introduced with the duelist glove slap class power. I thought it was fixed though...
