Ultimate ending and crowning (spoilers, I guess?)

Wiki/guides don't seem specific: Is it safe to go ahead and crown L if I have gotten the location of the ancient stone circle from the demented ratling and finished grab bay's quests (I have the obsidian amulet, but not an other parts of the trinity)? I don't need to be chaotic to actually enter the circle, do I?

yes, you're thinking right, after finishing Graab's quests [which include satisfying the ratling] you can safely convert.
