    Default Funny Dwarves

I had my high elven fighter talk to Glod the smith, and he said "ugh, me's so hungry". I've never seen this before and I have no idea what caused it. I gave him a fortune cookie and he no longer says this.
I also noticed that the elite dwarven guardians won't let the PC enter the elder's room if he's deaf. The game generates a message that says something like "the guardian pushes you back".
Has anyone else encountered this before? Is there anything significant about this? or is it just that the dwarves discriminate against people with physical disabilities?

Well, it would be hard to talk to the elder dwarf if you couldn't hear, but that does seem strange. I've had Yergis, the master theif, give me that "ugh so hungry" message several times.

The 'Ugh me's so hungry' message is random, every non-hostile npc in the game could generate it (ie, random farmer in terinyo for example) and if you give that person a food item, it gives you a lawful boost IIRC

The dwarf guardians will block deaf or mute (and I think blind... Soirana can tell you for sure) characters from seeing Thrundarr. You can just teleport passed them if you really want to talk to him though.
Any time a player finds Executor and fails to use it, the RNG kills a cute dog.

Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

Also, I'm fairly certain any NPC in the game can also generate
the message (that the tiny girl often generates if you bring back
the dead puppy) "Me's so lonely, I wish I had someone to talk to."

Not really sure what happens if you decide to stay with them for
a little while, but I did have a chuckle-worthy occurence with
a female drakeling one time: Hugo, the big casino guard told her
he was lonely, and after spending a little time with him, he let me
use the stairs and descend with my sack of sac gold.
    Code:
    Really kick the child? [y/N]

interesting occurence at the casino you mentioned. Makes me wonder if the same thing could be done to the EG.
I haven't yet finished an ADOM game, but i haven't given up on trying yet either.

Best thing ever. Back in one of the older gamma's I had a pretty tough necromancer going with a LOT of slaves. I didnt understand the whole stat system back then, so I didnt think it was that big of a problem loosing mana all the time. The barbarian clearing was filled with my undead. I went up to one of my skeletal warriors and C'hatted with him. He told me he was lonely and wanted some company. I did and went from C- to NC! Them undeaders actually raised my alignment.

for alot of fun, play a necro with an army of undead slaves. Who needs Ma when you got evil to do your killing for you?!

heh one of chaotic alignment might be able to do the same thing with a brother or sister of chaos that was neutral to start with. Just wait for them to get lonely and BAM, free alignment from something chaotic lol.

Free my ass. If you are at all interested in the 90 day corruption limit, check out the time and date before agreeing to chill out with an NPC - I had one PC loose an entire game week providing a shoulder for the tiny girl to cry on, and entire week damnit.
